William, fondly known as Bill, retired from NYSDOCS as a Vocational Instructor after 25 years of service. He was a dedicated employee and held various positions in the PEF Union advocating for members across the state. Prior to teaching, Bill was a talented and proficient mechanic at Becker Bus Service.
Bill was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Along with his love for the outdoors, Bill obtained his pilot's license in his later years and enjoyed flying to various destinations and visiting family.
William was predeceased by his parents, Guido & Susie; his brother, Irvin; and his son Michael. He is survived by his wife Sylvia, his daughters; Tammy (Joe) Kreutter and Dina (Steven) Barrett; and his five grandchildren; Curtis, Tyler, Emma, Eva, and Anna.
The family is not having services at this time and will Celebrate Bill's life in a private ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice is appreciated.
