

Alice Marie Waldeck has completed her earthly projects and graduated to Heaven. She was born on September 18, 1936 and passed on February 9, 2026. She was the youngest daughter of the late Mary Ethel Duncan McDougal & Dempsey Oliver McDougal, born and raised in WV. She and her future husband Jack Waldeck moved to Weirton, WV, and were married in the parsonage of the First Methodist Church in Weirton, WV, on July 30, 1955. They were married for 61 years until Jack passed away on May 4, 2016. They have three children who survive: Michael Andrew (Carol), Joyce Marie & Karen Sue (Ken). Other surviving relatives include eight grandchildren: Joey (Chelsea), Heather (Daniel), Derek, Luke (Hillary), Brent (Angelica), Andrew (Becky), Matthew (Eve) & Jessica (Dave). Twenty great grandchildren: Hannah, Jackson, Carson, Danica, Jacob, Lexie, Ethan (Ella), Liam, Adeline, Claire, Hunter, Kylie, Morgan, Eli, Drew, Olivia, Vanessa, Henry, Stevie & Wallen. Nieces & Nephews including; Buddy (Sherry), Patty, Everet & Samantha. Great Nieces & Great Nephews including; Justin, Courtney & Arah, and her Cousin Annie. Her three four legged companions Archie, Remy & Reggie. Alice was also preceded in death by siblings Everet, Ruth, Ralph & Alan, Granddaughter-in-law Jenifer Kmetz (Joey) and her Dear friend Lorena Waldvogel & numerous 4 legged friends that have crossed the rainbow bridge. Alice was a Christian who loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her favorite hymn was Farther Along. It is about finding hope and comfort during difficult times by trusting that you will eventually understand life's struggles and injustices.
Private Graveside Memorial services will be held at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery Steubenville Pike Burgettstown, PA, later in the Spring where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Jack Waldeck.
