Alma Julianna Williams, 89 of New Castle, passed on February 13, 2013 at Avalon Nursing Center, New Caste. She was born March 16, 1923 in Scalp Level, PA, daughter of the late LeRoy and Freda Alma (Reidinger) Fleegle. Alma was a registered nurse who enjoyed a long and rewarding career with the Visiting Nurses Association. She was a member of the Butler Chapter of the Eastern Star; and a member of First United Methodist Church, Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: B.J. Williams, a son: Rick Williams and a grandson: Dean Knight and three brothers: Ed, Dick and Bob.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Caren and Jack Stauffer, New Castle; her grandchildren: Christi (Smith) Bryant; Brad (Sandra) Knight; Bo (Carey) Williams; Courtney (Jeff) Carter; Justin and Ian Stauffer; and seven great grandchildren; her sister: Dolores Chicarell
In honor of her wishes, cremation arrangements were by SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Inc., Rochester, PA.
