

Audrey Leone Kohlman, 92, of New Brighton, PA, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2023, at her residence. She was born on November 13, 1930, in Louisville, Ohio, to the late Marie (Reesman) Poling and Lauren D. Poling. Audrey was a joyful and giving individual who always had a positive outlook, loved family and fun. She was known for her compassionate nature, curiosity, and her supportive and encouraging demeanor.
Audrey was a dedicated homemaker and also worked as an office clerk for American Bridge and Freedom Oil. She attended Ambridge High School and later enjoyed reading, hosting and playing cards, building puzzles, and volunteering at her church. Audrey was a proud Girl Scout Leader and contributed to the community through her involvement with 4H.
She is survived by her loving husband, Elmer Kohlman, her children Donna (Kohlman) Stortecky and David Stortecky, Debra Kohlman-Trigoboff and Daniel Trigoboff, Diane (Kohlman) Kowalski and John Kowalski, Doris (Kohlman) McLaughlin and Joseph (Lucky) McLaughlin, Janet Kohlman, and Thomas Kohlman and Linda (Weihaus) Kohlman. Audrey is also survived by her brother Melvin Poling and Bert Poling. She has 11 grandchildren and 11.5 great grandchildren.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Marie (Reesman) Poling and Lauren D. Poling, her sister Evelyn Pearl Poling, Avonelle (Poling) Shaddock and James Shaddock, and Lauren Dennis (Bud) Poling and Edna Poling.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm, closing prayers will take place at on Saturday, October 7, 2023, 10:00 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial,10:30 am at Our Lady of the Valley Parish, St. Cecilia worship site. Arrangements entrusted to the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, Inc, located at 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074. For further information, please contact the funeral home at 724-728-2456. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
