

She grew up in Comet, Montana and was very good in track and wanted to go to the Olympics, but WWII broke out and she was unable to try for the Olympics. Her track record was never broken in her home school in Boulder, Montana. She met her husband, Russell Earl Bowser in 1946. She moved to Pennsylvania with her husband and went on to have three children.
Betty Ann was very active in the Nazarene Church in New Brighton on Penn Avenue and was very active in the Beaver County Democrats for many years.
She was preceded in death by her father John Giulio, her mother Jenny Hansen Giulio, her brothers Harold and John Giulio, her husband Russell Earl Bowser, her son Larry Gordon Bowser, Great Grandson Logan Bennetti and son-in-law Donald D Shaw.
She is survived by her brother Gordon Giulio, her daughters Diana Lynn Bowser and Jill Kay Shaw, daughter-in-law Debbie Bowser, 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Thursday August 31, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home 273 Rt. 68 Rochester, PA 15074, where a funeral service will be conducted on Friday September 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
Betty will be laid to rest at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park in Rochester.
