Betty R. "Sarge" Pearce, age 93, of Rochester, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Betty was born October 29, 1928 in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ruth (Welsh) Sadenwasser. Her life revolved around her kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and she loved to watch old cowboy movies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Hoopes, and also a husband; Jack Pearce. Also preceding her in death was a brother; Jack Sadenwasser.
She is survived by three daughters; Donna (Mike) Pfaff, Joyce (Bob) Krepps, Connie Madish; one son; Rick (Merrianne) Hoopes. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Rhonda, James, Steven, Melissa, Jason, Jesse and Rick; as well as 13 great grandchildren, with number 14 on the way in September, multiple great great grandchildren, and one brother; James (Carole) Sadenwasser.
As per Betty's wishes, all services were private and entrusted to the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Private interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery.
