Catherine A. Craig

Catherine A. Craig, 92 a long-time resident of New Brighton, passed on Monday, February 16, 2015. She was born January 5, 1923 in Bridgewater, daughter of the late Matthew and Catherine (Malinich) Puppich.

Catherine was a member of the New Brighton United Methodist Church; and during her younger days was involved with the United Methodist Women. She was an avid reader and enjoyed the outdoors by taking daily walks.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband: Ronald Craig; brothers: Nicholas and Matthew Puppich; sisters: Anne Marinke, Mary Binkowski, Edith Puppich and Barbara Kutters.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: James (Janice) Craig, Brighton Township; Ronald (Mary) Craig, St. Maries, Idaho; Cathleen (Tim) Curran, Largo, FL; Linda (David) Noel, Virginia Beach, Virginia; five grandchildren: Chad Craig, Sara Beem, Julie Waide, Melissa McCutcheon and Lindsey Noel; four great grandchildren: Michael Beem, Bailee Beem, Mason McCutcheon, Brayden “Bubba” McCutcheon; her brothers: John Puppich, Freedom; Paul Puppich, Placerville, California; her sister and brother-in-law: Helen (Lawrence) Binkowski, Beaver, as well as nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday, February 20, 2015 from 4-8 in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
