

Charles Norman Brown, 81, of New Sewickley Township, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2018. He was born February 29, 193 in Ambridge, son of the late Lewis F. and Edna (Trowbridge) Brown. Charles proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force. He retired from DRAVO where he was employed as a cement truck driver.
In his leisure, Charles enjoyed time with friends and family at his camp in Erie. He also loved to hunting near his camp and fishing for perch and walleye at Pymatuning Lake. It was a sport he passed on to his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death his first wife of 34 years: Ruth Rosensteel Brown.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 25 years: Teresa (Zink) Brown; his son and daughter-in-law: Scott and Marge Brown, New Sewickley Township; and his daughter and son-in-law: Karen and Terry Valko, New Sewickley Township; four grandchildren; Jennifer Eiler; Matthew Brown; Travis Valko and Courtney Valko; seven great grandchildren: Kyler, Kallie, Karter and Kameron Brown; Micah and Bethany Eiler; and Cooper Valko.
In honor of his wishes, cremation arrangements were by the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. A memorial service to celebrate his life was held at the Unionville United Methodist Church. On line condolences may be offered at www.saul-gabauer.com
