Gilbert Jackson Goff, Sr., 86, of Economy Borough, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015. He was born April 29, 1929, son of the late Charles Gilbert and Margaret Geraldine Goff. He retired from the Aliquippa Works of J&L Steel. Jack was a member of the Economy United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded by his wife: Helen Virginia Goff; his son: Gilbert Goff, Jr.; and grandson: James Scott Goff.
Jack is survived by his daughter: Nancy Carol Maytic, Coraopolis; two granddaughters: Misti L. Corbett, Henderson, NV; and Jennifer Goff, Baden; eight grandchildren, five of whom were close to him: Jordan, Gunnar, Braden, Chase and Chance.
In honor of his wishes, cremation arrangements are by the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., Rochester; and following his cremation, inurnment will be in the John F. Kennedy Memorial Garden at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. On line condolences may be offered at www.saul-gabauer.com.
