

Jeffrey Scott Heinrich, 62, a lifelong resident of Rochester, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, following an extended illness. Jeff was born July 27, 1953 in Rochester, a graduate of Rochester High School and was a member of the basketball team.
Jeff was always active in Rochester Community Sports. For a number of years, he was a Little League Coach and supported the Midget Football and kid’s basketball programs. He particularly enjoyed the years when his sons Mark and Matt were involved. Jeff was also an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers and Penguins. He later developed an interest in golf. Jeff was a former account representative with Liken Home Medical, Inc.
In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his former wife: Judy (Brutout) Heinrich in 2007; and his sister; Dolly Heinrich.
Jeff is survived by two sons: Mark Heinrich, Pittsburgh; and Matthew (Vanessa Douthitt) Heinrich, Pittsburgh; one granddaughter: (daughter of Mark) who he adored: Leila Henirich-Surmacz, Pittsburgh.
Friends will be received Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p. m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). A service to honor his life will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, December 31, 2015 in the funeral home. Private interment will follow in the Sunset Garden of Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
