Joan F. (Frederick) "Cookie" Bell, age 79, of Chippewa Township, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Heritage Valley Beaver, Brighton Township. Born August 21, 1946, in New Brighton, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Anna (Sosnowski) Frederick. Joan was a proud Registered Nurse, having worked at Heritage Valley Beaver for over two decades. She loved country music, country line dancing, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Richard W. Bell (2022), a sister, Eileen Malloy, and a brother, Corny Frederick.
She is survived by a son; Richard H. Bell, three grandchildren; Katie Bell, Reanna Bell and Richard A. Bell, and three great grandchildren; Oliver Porreca, McKenzie Huber and Maverick Turnbull.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 12 noon until the time of funeral services at 2 pm at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
