Judy J. Gordon

Judy (Johnson) Gordon, 58, of Whittier, NC, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014 at UNC Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC. She was born April 29, 1956 in Beaver, daughter of the late Walter and Alyce (Michaels) Johnson.

Her professional career included positions as an accounts receivable manager and most recently a client account manager for PIMSY EHR.

During her leisure, Judy enjoyed riding the motorcycle with her husband Tracy and playing with her monthly Bunco club. She was most passionate about her family, the children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Arthur and Alan.

Judy is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 40 years: Tracy Gordon; one son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Kim Gordon, Concord, NC; one daughter and son-in-law: Jennifer and James Thomas, Whittier, NC; three grandchildren: Curtis, Matthew and Landon; sister and brother-in-law: Amy and Mark Dyvig, Mooresville, NC; and her step-mother: Clara Johnson, Mooresville, NC.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 278 Route 68, Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
