Kellie was born on May 6, 1963, to the late Jacob B. Freed and Wilma J. (Harpold) Freed in Beaver Falls.
Kellie was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She showered her nieces and nephews with love and spoiled them. Like a second mother to them when their parents needed help. She took pride in them always ready with a smile, hug and I love you. Each of them has fond memories of Kellie and will miss her tremendously. Kellie was always interested in what was occurring in their lives. She always prayed for, encouraged and listened to them.
Kellie was a testament to the strength and perseverance of coping with mental illness. She was an advocate and support to those who did not have one. She took pride and her need to be of help. There are few who knew the extent to which she helped others. Kellie was a champion for the elderly, ill and those with mental illness.
She was kind and had a smile for everyone she met. She was positive and optimistic. She had a good sense of humor. To know her was to make your heart happy and bring a smile to your face. She had a beautiful, loving soul.
Kellie is survived by her devoted sisters, Sandra Brooks, Barbara (Paul Nord), Freed and Bruce and (Tina) Freed. Nieces and Nephews Hope (David) Mueller, Faith (Michael) Foster, Kara (Chris) Moore, Sierra (Braden McCleary) Freed, Jason Cox, Joshua Cox, Jozelyn Freed, Jacob Freed, Heather Brooks, Brandi Brooks, AJ Freed and Candace Freed. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers Charles R. (Ricky) Freed and David C. Freed, also a beloved niece, Jessica K. Freed.
A memorial service will be held privately. All services entrusted to the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
