Luther Bearl Reed

the late Mary Myrtle and Jarvis Reed he resided in PA for the past 62 years. His wife, Helen

Marie Reed, of 66 years died shortly after him.

He was preceded in death by his brother Albert Lee and Ruth Reed of Rivesville, WV. His

surviving identical twin, James Earl and Wilma Reed of Elk Garden, WV, and his beloved dog Molly.

He leaves behind his devoted children Joseph B. Reed, and the late Amanda Dyke Reed of

Monaca PA, Michael D. Reed and Annmarie Patrizi Reed of Center Township, Mary K Reed

Cary and Joseph Cary of Hopewell Township. His grandchildren Kevin and Cassie Reed of

Uniontown, OH, CJ and Marrisa Reed of Newark, DE, Gino Cary of Hopewell Township, and

Emilee Cary of Hopewell Township. Also a great granddaughter Violette Reed of Newark, DE.

Four nephews James, John, Jonah, and Mark Reed of WV and one niece Julia Streets of Elk

Garden, WV. Two nieces and nephews Malorie and Dennis Draper of Montevallo, AL and Judy

and Mike Nuss of Montgomery, AL. Great nephews Patrick, Andrew, Forrest and Caleb Draper,

Benjamin Nuss and Lauren Jones. And many other loving nieces and nephews.

He dedicated his life to US Airways for 34 years and his love for woodworking that he shared

with his youngest grandson, Gino Cary. He was an Air Force Veteran who served in many Air

Force bases domestic and abroad. Some other activities that he was involved in were Cub

Scouts, Boy Scouts, band. He also enjoyed watching all of his grandchildren playing sports

throughout their youth and adulthood. He also spent years delivering meals on wheels to local residents.
