

Marko Dinello, 88 of Beaver Falls, formerly of Aliquippa, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015. He was born April 23, 1926 in West Aliquippa, PA, son of the late Carlo and Luisa (Sebastian) Dinello. He retired from the American Bridge Division of U.S. Steel, Ambridge in 1984 with 37 years of service. Marko was also a conscientious grounds keeper at Sharon Presbyterian Cemetery, Moon Township for 12 years.
Marko proudly served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. He was wounded in action at during engagement at Okinawa, Ryukyu Islands and was awarded a Bronze Battle Star and Purple Heart.
He was Roman Catholic by faith and member of St. Anthony Parish, West Aliquippa.
In addition to his parents, Marko was preceded in death by his eldest son: Charles in 1974; step-mother: Angelina Dinello; his former wife and mother of his children: Mary Ferraccio Dinello; a brother and two sisters-in-law: Albert and Frances Dinello; and Janice Dinello; and a sister: Phyllis Dinello.
Surviving are his wife: Jean (Roush Braun) Dinello; a daughter: Darlene Dinello Mills, Center Township; three sons: Mark Dinello, Chicago, IL; Ron Dinello, Hanover Township; and Donald Dinello and his wife Gina of Florida; three granddaughters: Erica Dinello; Daphne Dinello Mahoney and her husband Nick all of Florida; Christa Mills, Center Township; two great grandchildren: Todd Jr. (T.J.) and Vannessa; and a great grandson on the way, all of Florida; a step-brother: Ted Dinello, West Aliquippa; as well as nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received today, Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 2 to 7 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). A family tribute and prayer will offered by his son Mark to conclude the visitation. A Blessing Service will be held 10 a.m., Monday, January 12, 2015 in the funeral home with Fr. Bill of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, officiating.
Military Honors will be presented at 10:15 a.m. by members of the Beaver County Special Unit.
Private entombment will follow in the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
