Wanda Colleen (Campbell) Wilson, 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Newton Memorial Hospital in Newton, New Jersey. Wanda was born on October 3, 1931, in Hookstown, Pennsylvania, where she was raised. She relocated to Port Saint Lucie, Florida, in 1984, upon her husband’s career restructuring after the shutdown of the local steel mills. For the past 23 years she has resided in Vernon, New Jersey, having retired there to take part in the lives of her last-born grandchildren.
Wanda was a loving mother, wife and homemaker while raising her children in Monaca, Pennsylvania. She often took part in the election processes in Beaver County and enjoyed contributing to her community in this way, fulfilling her need to be useful to society. Later, upon her move to Florida, she owned and operated Treasure Coast Computerized Services (TCCS), with her daughter, Pam, which she took huge pride in.
Wanda led a long, interesting and fulfilling life that overflowed with love. She was always bringing that feisty ‘Betty White’ energy with her upbeat and optimistic attitude, comedic relief and penchant for good-natured mischief. She would be the first in line to be your partner in crime, even before she knew what the crime was and especially if it involved the candy aisle. She was a voracious reader, whether it was History, Fiction, Poetry or even the Bible, she had read it (though her favorite genres were mystery and romance); she was a devourer of knowledge. She also loved doing crosswords and jigsaw puzzles. In her younger years, she often wrote poetry, almost a kind of journaling, and in her later years she took to posting her thoughts on Facebook for the whole world to appreciate. She was fond of watching movies and multiple different TV series in her retirement. Her favorite movie was On Golden Pond, and she loved watching Matlock and Murder She Wrote. She was an avid lover of Christmas and looked forward to it each year. She took great pride in her Christmas decorations, inside and outside of the house and, in her words, could never have enough. As a teenager, she was part of a performance roller skating troupe; she enjoyed camping; she baked thousands of dozens of cookies over the years, both for her family and as a side business; she fished; she crafted; she was a beautiful singer and could be heard humming or singing, often, as she went about her day. She was kind and accepting. She was a force to be reckoned with and an irreplaceable human being. She loved and WAS loved fiercely.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth and step father, Calvin Campbell; daughter, Wendy Diane and grandson, Vincent Keith. She is survived by her brother Ron (Teresa) Campbell; daughters, Sharon Laneve, Pamela Majzlik and Constance Wilson; sons, Michael (Teri) Ciccarelli, Carl David Ciccarelli and Robert (Kim) Wilson; grandchildren, Eric Laneve, Sherri (Hayden) Lewis, Ronnie (Nicole) Laneve, Kelly Majzlik, Larry Majzlik, Crystal Ciccarelli, Michael (Mikey) Ciccarelli, Christopher Ciccarelli, Joshua (Emily) Wilson, Brent Wilson, Shane Wilson and Rachel Armellino; and a multitude of great-grandchildren, with a few great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Monday, January 19, 2026 from 6-8pm and funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, 12 noon at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074.
