Arthur R. Morgan 90, of Rockford, passed away at his home with his family by his side. Arthur was born on August 9, 1921 in Rockford. He was the son of Fulmer and Vera (Pierce) Morgan. Arthur was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy. He married Marion Louise Sutton on June 19, 1943 in Rockford. Arthur worked at Ingersoll Milling and Machine, then for Mueller’s Dairy until he retired in 1984, after 37 years. He was an avid gardener and was very active in Seniors On The Go at Northeast Christian Church. Arthur is survived by his children; Jerry Morgan of Edmond, OK, Jackie (David) Milburn of Rockford, and James (Penny) Morgan of Alton, MO, 10 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Winnette Morgan, and his wife Marion. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 19, at 11 a.m. at Northeast Christian Church, 5651 E. Riverside Blvd. Rockford 61114. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
