Carol L. Lynch, 68, of Roscoe, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, February 11, 2017. Born April 28, 1948 in Davenport, IA. Daughter of Lyle and Sarah (Crabill) Lynch. Formally employed in Quality Control at Warner Lambert. Member of Third Presbyterian Church in Rockford.
Carol was a former member and sang with the River City Sound Sweet Adelines. She found enjoyment in gardening, flowers, feeding and watching birds. Carol was a good friend to all who knew her and will be missed. She had a smile and laugh that would light up the room. Carol was very kind and smart.
Survived by her mother, Sarah; sister-in-law, Cindy Lynch; nieces and nephews; special friend, Donna Melcher. Predeceased by her father, Lyle and her brother, John Lynch.
