Catherine F. Jamison

Catherine F. Jamison, 83, of Machesney Park passed away Saturday October 16, 2021. Catherine was born in Warren, IL on February 24, 1938, the daughter of Leslie and Anna Marie (Hess) Gille. She married Anson Leon Jamison and he preceded her in death in 2011. Catherine worked for Atwood Mobil Supply for 32 years in Rockford. She loved to crochet, work in her gardens and feeding her birds and all her pet squirrels visiting her yard.

Catherine is survived by her children: Elnora Jennings, Joe (Vickie) Jennings, Mary (Gary) Cotton, William (Kim) Jamison and Wesley Jamison (Mallory); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Sister Barbara Gille. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two daughters: Debbie Pearson and Tina Larson.

Visitation for Catherine will be Monday October 25, 2021 from 1-2 PM at Advantage Funeral Home 7000 West State Street in Rockford; services to celebrate Catherine’s life will follow at 2 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
