He was born March 18, 1958 in Belvidere, the son of William and Betty Armstrong.
Charles is survived by his significant other Judy VanHauen, three sons; Luke (Stephanie) Armstrong, John (Elizabeth) Armstrong and Michael (Sara) VanHauen, one daughter; Marcie (Chris) Bakkala, Two Sisters; Jan (Randy) Cook and Loretta (Bill) Smith, 15 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son; Jason Stover, one sister; Marge Ary and one brother; Jack Armstrong.
Funeral Service will take place Saturday April 21, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Service 7000 West State Street Rockford, IL 61102. Cremation rites will be accorded.
