Dale David Springmeyer, 75, of Rockford, passed away on Monday April 29th. Born and raised in Chicago, son of Wesley and Frances Springmeyer. Dale served in the U.S. Army from 1964 thru 1966. After his return from active duty, Dale started a career in insurance, eventually owning a successful independent insurance agency in Rockford, IL. Dale enjoyed cooking, gardening, and watching old westerns. Survived by his son Brian and daughter Susan; grandchildren, Tristan and Katie; and siblings, David, Kathy, Stuart, Barbara, and Margaret.
Graveside inurnment to celebrate Dale's life with Military Honors will be 11:00 am on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Graceland Cemetery 4001 N. Clark St. Chicago, IL.
