Dan R. Gustman, age 69, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Dan was born April 14, 1956 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Raymond and Jean (Jackson) Gustman. He graduated from Boylan High School, class of 1974. He went on to graduate from Rock Valley College with an electronics degree. Dan was employed at Collins Aerospace (formerly Sundstrand) for over 30 years. He was a member of UAW, Local 592. Dan enjoyed golfing and was the former secretary of the Pan American Golf Association. He loved bowling and was a part of many leagues throughout the years. Dan was a tinkerer and enjoyed making his own golf clubs. He enjoyed spending time with family.
He is survived by his brothers, Jerry (Kelly) Gustman and Tim Gustman; niece, Lindsey (David) Homan; nephew, Jordan (Kate) Gustman; great-nieces, Harper, Emma, Clara and Lucy; great-nephew, Declan; aunt, Joan (Skip) Breuer; and cousin, Joe Breuer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Jean Gustman.
A private family service will take place.
