Daniel J. Piercefield

Daniel J. Piercefield, age 63, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023. He was born on December 20, 1959 in Rockford, Illinois to the late John and June (Rosenquist) Piercefield.

Daniel spent many of his working years as a trader. While not at work, he loved to travel with his wife and family. Though he visited many places throughout the world, he found peace and comfort at his second home in Florida. In his free time, he enjoyed his frequent visits to the gun range and watching his favorite football team, the Minnesota Vikings. He had a special place in his heart for his two furry friends, Teddy and Paisley.

Daniel is survived by his wife Amy Piercefield; his son Daniel (Jordan) Piercefield II; his brother David (Lory Mesina) Piercefield; and his many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents John and June Piercefield.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Advantage Funeral Home, 7000 W State St, Rockford, IL 61102. A burial will immediately follow.
