Dorothy A. Ware

Dorothy A. Ware, 75, of Machesney Park, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 18, 2016. Born on March 18, 1941 in Oregon, IL. Daughter of Waynard and Vivian (Travis) Dusing. Dorothy’s employment career spanned from waitress, to factory worker, to being a caregiver to selling Avon and Tupperware.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, baking and cooking new recipes. Her favorite pastime was shopping. She had a great love for cats and anything in the color of blue. She took pride in being the best Grandmother and Great-Grandmother that she could be. She was always there to help whenever anybody needed anything.

Dorothy is survived by her Children; Robert Ware Jr, Linda (Jack) Dohrer, John Ware Sr, David Ware; Grandchildren, John “Buddy” Ware Jr, Jeremy (Andrea) Lozdoski, Jason (Tiffany) Lozdoski, Chantel (Mike Hamilton) Ware, Damian Ware, Nena Ware, Anthony Ware, Aimee Lowe, Deanna Ware, Porsche Ware, Bart Ware, Linzee Dohrer, Jacob Ware; Great-Grandchildren, Devin Lozdoski, Kaitlynn Lozdoski, Lyla Lozdoski, Kelcie Lozdoski, Kamryn Hamilton, Jackson Ware, Cayden Ware, Alaysia Ware, Trejon Edwards, Toriyanna Edwards, Marshall Hamilton, Tayvion Edwards; Siblings, Robert Dusing, Ronald Dusing, Margaret Bry, Nellie Laughlin. Predeceased by her Parents; Brother, David Dusing; Great-Grandchildren, Allyson Lozdoski and Isaiah Munzo.

Funeral Services are Friday December 23 at 2 p.m. at Advantage Funeral Home, 7000 West State St, Rockford. Visitation at 1 p.m. until time of service. Burial will take place at a later date.
