Geraldine Kay Parisella

She is survived by husband Bert A. Parisella; Daughter Pamela (Donley) King, Palos Hills, IL; Sons William Dwayne (Christine) Bailey, Cherry Valley, IL; Kenneth Ray Bailey Rockford, IL; Four sisters: Jean Smith; Joyce Otts; Noami Lake and Loretta (Sonny) Mays. Brother Clement Smith; Sister-in-law Bess Smith. Seven grandchildren: Michelle King; Natalie (Dana) Williams; Veronica (Jason) Lawshe; Donley (Danielle) King; Nathan Bailey; Kayla Bailey; Ryan Bailey. Seven great grandchildren: Haley, Hailey, Aiden, Bryce, Gabriel, Caden, Donley Liam and numerous nieces and nephews. Loved all very much, desire is to see all in heaven. The way is through Jesus Christ. Proceeded in death by Bill Bailey father of her children, Bernie Brickey, Brother Otis Lee Smith, Sister Millie Ristow, sister in law Jeanette Smith.

Kay loved assisting others at local nursing homes, Carpenters Place and especially in church teaching teens, seniors and serving in numerous other capacities.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church 2001 N. Alpine, Rockford, IL with service to follow with Pastor Kenneth Krause officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Garden. Advantage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
