James was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. James was born in Southern Illinois on March 2, 1934, the son of John and Dorene Beasley. He was employed as a welder for Ablaze Welding. James was a veteran of the Army.
James was preceded in death by his parents, brother David Beasley.
James is survived by his sons: Gary (Terri), Jeff, Mark (Bret) and Jesse James; grandchildren Kurt Beasley and family, Kari and Rick Shimp and family; great-grandchildren; brother Cecil (Lily) Beasley of Georgia, sister Virginia Newby of TN and Ed Beasley of Belvidere; several nieces and nephews.
