Janet H. Robison

failing health.

Janet was born on December 16,1934 to Ozell Trask Stateler and Janet Stateler in Peoria, IL.

She was the youngest of 3 daughters. She graduated from Mid-County High School in 1952

then pursued a career in teaching.

While teaching, she met fellow teacher Paul Robison. They were married on July 23, 1955 in

Lacon, IL and had 3 children, Robb, Greg and Paula. Janet and Paul were married for 40

years.

Janet left teaching to raise her three children. Later in life, she served as an Election Judge

and worked at Rockford Office Supply. She was also very active in Daughters of the Nile

(Alabet Temple) and loved crafts and collectibles. In her later years, she especially enjoyed

spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her

smile, love of laughter and sweet personality. Janet will be greatly missed by family and

friends.

Janet was predeceased by her husband, Paul, her parents, Janet and Ozell Trask, her two

sisters, Shirley and Barbara, and nephew, Scott Watkins.

Survivors include Robb (Jean) Robison of Green Valley, AZ, Greg (Cindi) Robison of Plainfield,

IL, Paula (Gary) Tripodi of Rockford, IL; grandchildren Jack Robison, Nisa (Jared) Johnson,

Luke (Megan) Tripodi, Peter Tripodi, Matthew (Christine) Tripodi; great grandchildren Elijah,

Sophia, Micah, Obadiah (Nisa), Samuel and Madelyn (Luke), Olivia (Peter), Gino, Indira, and

Cora (Matthew) and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

A private service will be held at a time to be determined. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.
