Jessie L. Watkins, 68, of Rockford, IL, passed away, Wednesday, November 19, 2025 after an illness. She was born October 27, 1957, the daughter of Asa D. "Ace" and June L. (Pennell) Mayfield. Jessie was employed as a beautician at the Stylette and worked at American Shaft. She had a love of making dream catchers and made beautiful jewelry with her mother, June. She had a great sense of creativity. Jessie was devoted to her family, always standing up for loved ones when needed. She is loved and will be missed.
Jessie is survived by her sons, Jason Dittman and John Dittman; grandchildren, Tristan Dittman, Amanda Dittman, Isabella Dittman, Cloe Dittman, Jason Dittman, Jr., Curtis Dittman, Dylan Dittman and Brandon Dittman; great-grandchildren, Axel and Sophia; siblings, Janet, Ray, Mike, Bill and Steve; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
