

John “Bud” Henry Bonner, 74, of Rockford, passed away December 21, 2014 surrounded by his loved ones. Born January 2, 1940 in Vossburg, MS; he was the son of Henry L. and Edna (Milsap) Bonner. He married Eileen Watson on November 30, 1996 in Rockford.
A member of Living Faith Tabernacle Church, Bud graduated from Shirley Owens High School in Quitman, MS; and retired from Belvidere Chrysler in 2001 after 35 years of employment.
He enjoyed spending his time playing bingo, card games, walking, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen Bonner; first wife to which five children were born, Barbara Bonner; children, John “Chuck”, Lamont “Marky”, Vincent “Chubby” (Dawn), and Kenneth Bonner, Jacqueline “Renee” (Condric) Sanders, and Patricia Adkins; brother, James Wesley (Elsie) Bonner; sisters, Deara (Homer) Carter, Juanita (John) Clemons, and Jessie R. Porter; aunt, Lovie Milsap; step-children, Cynthia Buchanan, Rebecca “Beck” Grant, Terry (Charles) Williams, and James “Lamont” (Shanetha) Watson; long-time friend, General Tory; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Willie Mildred “Milk” Bonner; and a step-daughter, Sherry Faye Jones.
