

Judith (Judy) Trenholm Harmon Faber, 80, of Machesney Park, went home to be with her Savior Jesus and all her loved ones who went before her on Saturday, October 21, 2017. Born March 11, 1937 in Rockford, IL. Daughter of Harvey and Dorothy (Crone) Trenholm. She was a nurse for most of her adult life. Her career started at Swedish American Hospital where she would see life coming into the world and she retired from Maple Crest Care Centre Nursing Home where she would help with the end stages of life. She retired in 2003.
She is survived by her children, Theresa (Greg) Platt, Glen (Eileen) Harmon, Mark (Lea) Harmon, David (Kathy) Harmon Jr., Daniel (Laurie) Harmon, Mary Deiter; and their father, David (Margaret) Harmon Sr. She is also survived by many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and cousins; sister, Dorothy “Dot” Thompson; brother, Tom Trenholm and best friends from life, Margie White and Jody Cruz. She was predeceased by her husband, William “Bill” Faber; parents; brothers, Don, George, Larry and Steve Trenholm; son-in-law, Thomas “Tom” Deiter Sr., and many other extended family and friends.
The family wishes to thank all those who loved and supported us through this long journey. We would also like to mention all of the outstanding staff at Mercy Health at Home Hospice formally known as VNA Hospice especially her Nurse Brian; CNA Becky; Chaplain Randy; Social Worker Dashika and beautiful volunteer Betty. Your presence in her life was a true blessing and we could not have cared for her so well without you.
The family would also like to thank all the Pastors and Staff at Heartland Community Church for your support, prayers and friendships, especially Connie Norman for befriending, visiting and praying for and with our Mother.
Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 28 at Advantage Funeral Home, 7000 West State St, Rockford. Visitation at 10 a.m. until time of service.
