Linda J. Dishon, 74, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Monday, January 13, 2024. Linda was born to Harold and Ruth Bock in Dixon, Illinois, on April 28, 1950. She was retired from JC Penney’s. Linda loved crocheting various items for her grandchildren throughout the years. Above all else, she loved to go to thrift stores, especially with the grandgirls.
She is survived by her children, Eugene (Rhonda) Dishon and Jeanetta (David) King; grandchildren, Elena Dishon, Samantha (Lane) Riege, Alyssa (Connor) McMeeking, Paige (Brad) Henrey, Christopher Broege, Joseph Dishon, Tanner Dishon, Brody Dishon, Luke (Carrie) Williams, Aaron Starnes, and Brandon King; great-grandchildren, Abraham, JJ, Tyler, Henry, Aubrey, Jaxson, Sage, Hunter, River, Bentley, and Maya; sister, Nancy (Denny) Bankson; many nieces and nephews.
