Rockford-Lisa K. Shimer, 52, of Rockford passed away Thursday October 16, 2014. Lisa is survived by her mother Zoe Shimer; daughters Dana Musso, Nikki Shimer and Erika (Tori) Rundberg; grandchildren Kayleigh Jones, Chase Linley, Brayden Falzone and Bentley Musso; sisters Rachelle Chattin and Denise McCreery; brothers Lonnie, Nathan and Gary Shimer; nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Lisa was predeceased by her father Merlin C. Shimer, grandparents, sister Renee Conrad and devoted friend Pete Allen.
A service to celebrate Lisa’s life will be held at The Image on Saturday October 25, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. Cremation rites have been accorded by Advantage Funeral and Cremation 7000 West State St. in Rockford. Condolences may be sent to www.advantagerockford.com
