Mary Ann Anderson

Mary Ann (Cascio) Anderson, 79, of Rockford passed away peacefully Saturday, October 11, 2014 after a long courageous battle with Alzheimers. Born November 16, 1934 in Rockford to Luca and Frances (Domico) Cascio.

Mary went on to marry the love of her life Theodore Anderson on September 5, 1959.

Mary was an excellent cook who loved gardening. She was a member of the Eagles Club, several dart and bowling leagues, and attended every bingo game she could.

She will be truly missed.

Survivors include children, Jeffrey (Charemon) Anderson, Kimberly (Curt) Schiavo, and Timothy Anderson; grandchildren, Mackynzie, Maddison, Kara, Zak, Alexa, Zandyn, Zayne, Zaren, Zarik, and Arika; siblings, Iggy (Shirley), Angelo (Carm), Salvatore (Mary Jo), and Luke (Nina) Cascio, and Rosalie (Lenny) Bagnowski; sister-in-law, Gladys Cascio.

Predeceased by her husband, Ted; parents; brothers, Benny (Martha), Mike (Stella), Johnny, Frank (Anna), and Peter (Loretta) Cascio; sisters, Josephine (Dominic) Ferro, Antoinette (Harvey) Foster, and Betty Thomas.
