Michelle was a wonderful women of God, and a dear friend at work. she was always so full of life and she brought joy when she walked into the room. Michelle put her imprint on so many lives that we will never know how many she really touch for the better.

I first met Michelle in 1973 when we were college help employees at the USPS at the main office in downtown Rockford. We worked the last night there and then the next day we worked the first day at the new main office on Harrison Av. I attended her wedding reception and later both of our two children went to Court Street Methodist Church for Sunday school. I am glad she was able to get to retirement, I just wish she could have had a longer one. I think what I will miss most is that beautiful smile!

Thank you to all who share memories for our family on Michelle. You reinforce what I’ve felt all my life as her younger sister. She loved her family and was a Christian in all her interactions through her life. She was an advocate for USPS. I’m so proud to have been a part of her life; we had wonderful memories as kids, with work, though our families, through Eastern Star, and all our activities. Luvya always Michelle .

To the Family of Michelle, I worked with Michelle for over 20 years in the USPS. She was always a giving and helpful person. She was always smiling and compassionate in every thing she did. I would seek advice from her on many occasions and she always followed up with me on my decisions. May God 🙏 keep all of you in his hands during these grieving times. Rest in Peace Michelle.
