

Patricia Ann (Pagano) Kent was born on November 5, 1940 in Michigan City, Indiana to Dominic and Lois ( Stanton) Pagano. She passed peacefully at Rockford Memorial Hospital on Sunday evening December 8, 2014 after a brief bout with cancer. She lived the beginning of her life in Niles, Michigan. She met and married Thomas Kent in California in 1969 and gave birth to daughter Tina in 1970. Her and Tom moved to Rockford Illinois in 1971 and in 1976 gave birth to son Thomas Jr. Over the years Patricia worked in the office at Tom's business and became a manager at Hardee's before taking on her manager job at Pizza Hut where she ultimately retired from. She came out of retirement and worked as a hostess at Cracker Barrel until she broke her hip in December 2006. Patricia enjoyed 39 years at Blackhawk Campground in Milton, Wisconsin where she lived part of her year beginning in May and ending in late September. She enjoyed her card games both in person and online and could frequently be found playing poker or bingo at the campground she loved. Patricia loved and spoiled her grandchildren Katie Webb and Tommie (Emily) Vallance and greatgrandson Alex Vallance, who called her grandma in the chair with candy. Patricia in her years at Blackhawk made many friends that she kept in touch with over the years, but formed a special bond with her "outlaws" Doug and Katie Webb and their daughter Candi Blake who made sure she was taken care of in her last years at Blackhawk.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Tina Webb ( fiance Dave Martens), son Thomas E. Kent Jr. , Grand daughter Katherine ( Katt) Webb, grandson Tommie ( Emily) Vallance , great grandson Alex Vallance, Stepson Jim ( Marie) Summers, grandson John ( Nicole) Summers, great granddaughters Marissa Summers, Cali Summers and Leanna Summers. All of Rockford, Illinois. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas Kent Sr.and Brother Donald Pagano.
There will be a memorial service to honor her life in the Spring of 2015 at Blackhawk Campground in Milton, WI where she would have wanted it. Also her children will be hosting a Memorial Poker Tournament in her name which was one of her final wishes
