Paula Marie (Lambert) Pierson, 65, passed away Monday, May 2, at the River Bluff Nursing Home in Rockford after a long illness. Paula was born in Kankakee, she was the daughter of Eugene and Blanche Lambert. Paula graduated from B.B.C.H.S. then went on to work for Waste Management Services until she retired in 1998. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, playing games, and working with reunion committees with her high school classmates. Paula is survived by her sister Marlene (Dale) Hodges of CA, best friend and niece Jackie (Louis) Regnier Statler a constant companion and year-long caregiver during her illness, and several nieces, nephews, step children, and step grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Pierson in 1992, her parents, and her siblings Bernard, Dolores Regnier, Karen Feddler, Bette Odette, and Richard “Dickie” Lambert. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, at All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Bourbonnais on Rte 102 from 10 a.m. -11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. www.mem.com
