Peggy Ann Bartscher went home to be with the Lord on January, 28 2022. Born in a small town of Moccasin Hollow in Missouri in 1944. Peggy moved with her family to Rockford, IL in 1955. On April 8th 1961, Peggy married the Love of her life, L. Thomas Bartscher. Together they had 7 children.
Peggy is remembered for loving her family and anyone she met. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed serving others and doing special things when she knew what you liked. Spending time with family was the highlight of her life. Peggy was an amazing cook. During the years while the family was growing, the food disappeared as fast as she prepared it. Peggy had a great sense of humor and enjoyed lightheartedly joking with everyone.
Peggy was a great cheerleader believing in her family. She was a great listener and enjoyed hearing everything you had to say. She would support your goals, and then let you know if you needed some motherly advice. Peggy stood up for her family and her Lord. You always knew wherever you were in your life, you were loved unconditionally by her. Peggy was a true example of remaining joyful through her suffering. Peggy, you are loved by many and will be greatly missed!
