Penny D. Yarbro, 59, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Penny was born April 13, 1965, to Wesley and Georgia Hall in Rockford. She married the love of her life, Michael Yarbro on October 9, 1982. From there, she took on her favorite role of being a mother, and later a grandmother. She absolutely cherished her family, and they were her main priority.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Michael Yarbro; children, Michelle (Ronny) Slocum and Andrew (Caitlin) Yarbro; grandchildren, Madison, Mya, and Rylee Slocum, Ricky, Rory, Crosby, and Griffin Yarbro; parents, Wesley and Georgia Hall; siblings, Allen Hall and Debbie Kopplin; close cousin, Jay Lopin; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Alberta Alexander; aunt, Carol Campbell.
A Celebration of Life for Penny will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Blackhawk Athletic Club, 2023 Broadway, Rockford, Illinois 61104.
