Phyllis L. Scott

Phyllis graduated from Rockford Central High School and attended some college. She was married to Frank Scott who she meet at Woodward’s and married in October of 1951. Phyllis served as a Sgt. in the Army during WWII. She was a RMH pink lady and volunteer at River Bluff. She had a passion for reading, gardening and quilting.

Phyllis was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Rose (Worthington) Warr, husband Frank, daughter Donna Robertson, brother Allan “Curly” Warr and sister Grace Jones.

Phyllis is survived by son Gary Scott; nephew Eric Jones; granddaughters Kim Juhnke (John) Gustafson, Trina (Steve) Pearce, Deon (Bartolo) Fresco and Sharla Bachrodt; great-grandchildren Ilea and Tara Pearce, Morgan (Brandon) Ashire, Kelly Gustafson, Bethany and Connor Bachrodt, Ryan and Bartolo Jr. and Elsa Fresco; great-great-grandchildren: Sawyer Elisbeth Bachrodt, Natalie, Bentley, Maikel, Yoan, Nicholais, Yanet, Yeima and Biachi Fresco; great-great-great-grandchildren: Ashley and Adanari Riso, Yadiel, Yan Carlos and Kelly Fresco.

Memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday February 16, 2016 at P.A. Peterson with fellowship at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary.
