Robert W. Jordan

Bob was born February 7, 1952, and grew up in Justice, Illinois. After moving to Rockford, Bob spent many years as a maintenance mechanic at Weyerhaeuser. Often Bob would be out and about helping his friends with their home projects, or just enjoying their company. In his retirement, Bob enjoyed gardening with his beloved husband Luis, spending time with his family, and playing “who’s got front?” with his kids as they grew and passing the game along to his grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his loving husband, Luis Rodriguez Jordan, his children Allyn (Brandy) Jordan and Claire Jordan, and his grandchildren Julio, Isaac, and Paislee.

Robert was preceded in death by his father William Jordan, stepmother Julie Jordan, stepfather John Kraft, mother Anna May Kraft, and sister Willa Jordan.

A graveside gathering will be held with the family on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11:00 am in Willwood Burial Park. Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting the family.
