Roy L. “Butch” Lightheart Jr., 58, of Machesney Park, IL died on November 16, 2010 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born July 8, 1952 in Rockford. Worked 38 years for the Railroad. He enjoyed watching wrestling, drag racing and going to the demolition derby. He devoted his life to raising his son and the joy of his life was his grandchildren. He was an amazing and loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by his son, Jason (Valerie) Lightheart; grandchildren, Allissa and Zachary Lightheart; sister, Rose Dyer; nephew, Chris Lightheart; great-nephew, Christian Lightheart; special friends, Doug and Jane Bennett and Warren Latham. Predeceased by his parents, Roy and Brunona (Heinrich) Lightheart Sr. Funeral service at 2 pm on Sunday, November 21, 2010 in Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7000 W.
