She married David Byron Nordlof on June 29, 1963. She lived to bring glory to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and spent each day caring for and helping to guide her family. Sharon was a wellspring of comfort, hospitality, and generosity to all who crossed her path.
Sharon passed away on August 15, 2025 in Rockford, Illinois.
She was predeceased by her parents Marion E. Johnson (Pierce) and Alfred Pierce; grandson, Odin Faith; and her brother Jerome Pierce Sr.
She is survived by her husband, David Nordlof; daughters, Christine Nordlof and Cheri (Dion) Faith; grandsons, Garret Owen (Siana) Faith and Mitchell Jordan Faith; and great-grandchildren, Noah Faith and Arielle Faith.
Per Sharon’s wishes, a private memorial will be held with her immediate family at a later date.
