She was born on June 6, 1954 to Gerald and Marion (Nath) Corwin. She attended high school in
Durand.
Theresa was employed by Amerock Corporation for many years. She loved her grandchildren and made it a point to attend all of their activities.
She is survived by her children; Brian Sweet of Durand and Shawn (Don) Ace of Rock City; her grandchildren; Cannon Sweet, Ian Ace and Avery Ace.
Theresa is also survived by her siblings; Greg (Linda) Corwin of Freeport, Brenda Butler of Durand and Melody (Allen) Hackett of Durand, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held 3pm to 4:30pm on June 26, 2012 at the Durand United Methodist Church 102 East Main Street, Durand, IL. A funeral service will follow at 4:30pm. Pastor Thomas Hardwick will be officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
