Vickie L. Foster, age 62, of Machesney Park, Illinois passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025. She was born August 14, 1962 in Viroqua, Wisconsin, the daughter of Keith and Sharon (Olson) Evans. Vickie married Edwin Foster on April 9, 1979 in Rockford. She was a faithful member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Vickie worked as a home health aide prior to becoming ill. She was a talented seamstress. Vickie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed hosting parties and card nights.
Vickie is loved and missed by her husband, Ed; children, Jesse (Leslie) Foster and Justin (Deanna Hallman) Foster; grandchildren, Ashley (Clark) Christen, Rebekah Christen, Kaylee Foster, Aliviah Foster, Kolton Foster; great-grandchildren, Noah and Emmett; siblings, Bonnie Evans, Kevin Evans and Scott (Melinda) Evans numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Brian Evans and Kimberly McVay; sister-in-law, Donna Evans; niece, Angel Evans; nephews, Brent and Brandon Evans
A visitation for Vickie will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, 7000 West State Street, Rockford, Illinois, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Dave Daniels.
Vickie will be laid to rest in Willwood Burial Park, 7000 West State Street, Rockford, Illinois.
