Wilbur was born on February 21, 1923 the son of Carl A. and Ernestine S. Hass.
Wilber was affiliated with Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lindenwood, IL and farmed all his life.
Wilber is survived by two nephews: Kerry Kirby and Larry Kirby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ernie Hass and one sister Ardella Kirby.

Graveside service for Wilbur will be 11:00 a.m. Friday December 28, 2012 at Willwood Cemetery in Rockford, IL.
