

She was born in Nova Scotia on February 23, 1925 a daughter of William and Marie (Hache) Doucet.
Bernadette was employed as a CNA and also worked in retail. In her retirement she volunteered in her church and the community.
She was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior and was a former member of the Daughters of Isabella.
Bernadette was a loving wife and mother who had many talents to include cooking, baking, sewing and knitting.
She is survived by her children; Robert Richard and wife Susan of Belfast, Elaine Daigle of Rumford, Shirley Richard Arsenault and husband Jeffrey of Rumford, Lydia Schmersal and husband Christopher of Winthrop, Fay Gallant and husband Robert of Wheelock, VT, Nicole Phelps and husband Kerry of VT, Justin Coulombe and wife Kip of Seffner, FL and Christian Coulombe and wife Angela of Winn, Maine; a brother, Armand Doucet of Canada; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband Joseph Y. Richard in 1969 and a second husband Clement Coulombe in 1990, a sister Germaine Doucet, and seven brothers, Alec, Arthur, Gerard, Joseph, Dennis, Fernand, and Phileas Doucet.
