She was born in Rumford, Maine on January 26, 1932 a daughter of Josiah F. and Dorothy V. (Leach) Hall.
Maggie was educated in Rumford schools. She married James Mervin Farrington on March 2, 1951, together they celebrated 31 years of marriage; he passed away on April 2, 1982.
Maggie enjoyed quilting, gardening, puzzles, bird watching and reading.
Surviving are her children; Peter Farrington and wife Colleen of East Andover, Stephen Farrington and companion Linda Desjardins of Rumford; Robert Farrington and companion Jill McDonald of Rumford, Rachel Dickson and husband Peter of Freeport, and Toby Farrington and wife Micky of Panama City, Fl; three sisters, Josephine, Edith and Elizabeth; a brother Robert; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and two sisters, Dorothy and Ruth.
