Born Feb. 15, 1927 in Epirus, Greece and immigrated to the United States in 1948. Settled in St. Louis and married Vasiliki Sekkas on September 22, 1957. Beloved husband of Vasiliki, father of Elena (Mike) Kratz, Irene (Rob) Edwards and Popi Pappas; dearest grandfather of Rina and Michael Kratz and Lydia, Nina and Maria Edwards; our dear uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend to many.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to all of the in home caregivers.
The funeral service will be conducted at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 1755 Des Peres Rd. on
Sat., Jan. 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Assumption Greek Orthodox Church or The Brotherhood of Sopiki. Visitation will be held at HoffmeisterColonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa at Watson on Fri. from 4-8 PM. Trisaghion Service will be held at Hoffmeister Colonial on Fri. at 7:00 PM.
