Olinger, Rosalyn V. of St. Louis Missouri was born November 28, 1935 in Glennonville, Missouri to Joseph M. and Lena (nee Kuper) Olinger, and entered into rest, Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at her home in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 84 years, 5 months and 7 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, (6) siblings, Leona (Mearl) Higginbotham, Lillian (Steve) Koerber, Marius Olinger, Roman Olinger, Francis Olinger, Roberta (Frank) Raglin, (1) brother-in-law, Harry Finder and one nephew, Dr. John Higginbotham.
She is survived by (4) siblings, Ruth Finder, Don (Cecelia) Olinger, Sister Cecelia Joseph Olinger OSU and Leon (Sharon) Olinger along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews, as well as many friends.
Rose was a bookkeeper at Southwestern Bell and AT&T for 33 years, retiring in 1986. She loved traveling, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. She was a devout Catholic and her faith was an important part of her daily life. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at St. Teresa Catholic Church, 40694 State Highway JJ, Campbell MO 63933, and at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in St. Louis at a later date. Inurnment will be at the St. Teresa Parish Cemetery following the Mass. Memorial donations may be made to St. Teresa School, 40648 State Highway JJ, Campbell, MO 63933.
