

Navy, Betty Lou (nee Anders) and Navy, William Hendrix "Bill" went to be with the Lord on Dec. 19th and 20th. After being married for over 71 years they were only apart 20 hours before being reunited in Heaven. Loving parents of David (Lynn) Navy, Lynn (Steven) Verity, Gail (Gary) Holst, and Jonathan Navy; Loving grandparents of Peter (Julie), Patrick (Katy), Chad (Jenny), Tina, Nicki (Tom), Paul, Jackie (Brett), Joy (Mike), and David (Traci); Loving great grandparents of Emerson, Beckett, Max, Mandy, Victoria, Braden, Savannah, Caleb, Corey, Spike, Ella, Abigail, Luke, Brian, Ruth, Sylvia and Mathew.
Betty will always be known for her devotion to family, her ability to forge lasting friendships, and her beautiful soprano voice. Bill and Betty blessed all who heard them perform their arrangements of the old hymns. Bill was an accomplished pianist and church music leader. They were always faithful to the Baptist Church. Bill was incredibly humble about his service in the Navy in WWII and his remarkable tenor voice.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Mon., Dec. 26 at HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL MORTUARY, 6464 Chippewa. Funeral Service at 11:00 am on Tues., Dec. 27 at Tower Grove Baptist Church, 4257 Magnolia with burial to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Tower Grove Christian Academy.
